Attending the Iranian Congress of Radiology (ICR) from October 21 to 24, 2025, was truly an unforgettable experience. As the research manager for Prof. Mohammadi, I had the privilege of immersing myself in a gathering that united top experts, researchers, and practitioners in radiology along with my friend Ali Abdi.

One standout feature of the congress was the keynote speeches from prominent figures in radiology. These presentations highlighted not only groundbreaking research but also the vital need for collaboration across various medical disciplines.

The structure of the sessions encouraged active participation, providing ample time for questions and discussions. This format pushed me to engage deeply and absorb as much information as possible to bring back to our research team. I filled pages with notes on cutting-edge techniques, including the use of AI tools.

The exhibition area was another highlight, showcasing the latest technology and innovations in radiology. Walking through the exhibits, I marveled at the rapid advancements in imaging techniques like MRI and CT scans. For instance, one company demonstrated a new portable ultrasound device that offers high-quality imaging for remote areas, potentially improving access to care for millions of patients.

Networking opportunities during this event were abundant. I connected with fellow researchers and practitioners, sharing ideas and discussing potential collaborations. These conversations often sparked interest in joint research initiatives. A particularly memorable moment was the panel discussion on the ethical implications of artificial intelligence in radiology. The varied perspectives brought forth encouraged a meaningful debate, reminding us of our responsibility in navigating technological advancements.

Reflecting on my time at the Iranian Congress of Radiology, I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from some of the brightest minds in the field. The insights gained and connections made will undoubtedly influence my approach and the research we pursue in the future.

In summary, attending ICR 2025 was more than just an opportunity to learn about radiology's newest developments; it was a chance to engage deeply with a community dedicated to enhancing patient care through innovation and collaboration. I encourage everyone in the radiology field to participate in such events. They provide invaluable insights and foster connections that can drive significant progress in our profession.

This congress reinforced my belief in the ongoing need for continuous education and collaboration in medicine. I eagerly anticipate applying the knowledge gained and sharing these insights with my colleagues, contributing to the ongoing evolution of radiology.
